REFUND & PAYMENT POLICY

CANCELLATION/WITHDRAWAL

Under normal circumstances, tuition fees are refundable only if a course is cancelled within the time frame specified below. Students who cancel their classes within this time frame may elect to forgo a refund and any penalty and apply the tuition fee to a future Dukes Academy course within six months from the date of cancellation. Students who require a refund should make a request to Dukes Academy by telephone. Refunds will be processed within 2-3 weeks.

Written notice of withdrawal to Dukes Academy prior to three days of a course provides a full refund less a $15.00 cancellation fee, exclusive of books and materials (see textbook return policy below).

Notice of withdrawal the first day of class or thereafter or a "no-show" provides a 50% refund of the full tuition, exclusive of books and materials (see textbook return policy below).

If the full tuition and/or fees have not been paid in full then the refund will be calculated on the full tuition and fees due.

TEXTBOOKS RETURN

In order for a textbook to be refunded in full, the book must be returned to Dukes Academy within thirty days from the date of delivery, unmarked, undamaged and suitable for resale as a new book.

If a student withdraws from class or is a "no-show" and has received any textbooks or materials the student will be charged in full for such textbooks and/or materials at Dukes Academy's normal selling prices.
